No Turning Back

Welcome to the redesigned website. I have been overwhelmed by the positive response since the launch earlier this year on Jan. 21. In a seemingly short period of time, marketed only through Facebook, Twitter, word of mouth and a few reciprocal links, the site has seen nearly 4,500 page views. Of course, I certainly don’t want to stop there. I want to continue to grow and expand the scope of the site and what it means to so many of you.

Encouraged by the traffic on the site and the involvement from you, the readers, I have retooled the look and feel of www.michaelwcompton.com in order to bring you even more articles, features, and photographs, some of which you just won’t find anywhere else. I take pleasure in hearing your stories. I enjoy sharing them even more.

Another reason for the redesign is that we have fielded numerous requests for advertising on the site. The previous layout simply did not lend itself to effective advertising placements. As we continue to grow and expand our readership, the plan is to make this site advertiser-supported media.
