Calvin Borel Scores 5,000th Career Win

Veteran jockey Calvin Borel notched his 5,000^th career victory on March 7 at Oaklawn Park.

Borel, 46, achieved the milestone win aboard Hezunusual. Borel, a three-time winner of the Kentucky Derby (G1), is the 26^th North American rider to reach 5,000. His Derby winners were Street Sense, Mine That Bird and Super Saver. He was also the regular rider for Rachel Alexandra.
