Hansen to Work Saturday for Blue Grass Stakes


Horses considered as probable starters for the 88th running of the $750,000 Toyota  Blue Grass (G1) are scheduled to work Saturday morning.

Kendall Hansen and Skychai Racing’s Hansen, champion 2-year-old of 2011, is scheduled to have his final work for the Toyota Blue Grass on Saturday at the Trackside Training Center in Louisville for trainer Mike Maker, according to Keeneland Publicity.

The Blue Grass workers expected at Keeneland Saturday morning are Dullahan, winner of last fall’s Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity (G1);  Team Valor International’s Howe Great, who just defeated Dullahan in the Palm Beach Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park; Adirondack King, Politcally Incorrect and Golden Ticket round out the Saturday slate of key workers looking at next weekend’s Blue Grass Stakes.
