Hero of Order, upset winner of the Louisiana Derby (G2), has joined the probable cast for Saturday’s 88th running of the Blue Grass Stakes (G1), according to Keeneland Publicity.
“If he is feeling good, run him,” trainer Gennadi Dorochenko said on Monday.
The 109-1 winner of the Louisiana Derby (G2) on April 1 at Fair Grounds is a son of Sharp Humor. He will be ridden by Eddie Martin Jr. , who rode him in the Louisiana Derby. Dorochenko is also expected to have a second runner in the Blue Grass in Russian Greek.
Probables for the Blue Grass Stakes are: Adirondack King, Dullahan, Ever So Lucky, Golden Ticket, Hansen, Heavy Breathing, Hero of Order, Holy Candy, Howe Great, Midnight Crooner, Politically Correct, Prospective, Russian Greek, and Scatman.
