New Jersey Nets head coach Avery Johnson celebrated Gemologist’s Wood Memorial victory with the winning connections on Saturday at Aqueduct.
Johnson, known as the “Little General” during his NBA playing days, is a close friend of Elliott Walden and Kenny Troutt of WinStar Farm. Pictured with Walden, winning jockey Javier Castellano and trainer Todd Pletcher.
