paynter
Paynter has been installed as the 3-2 morning-line favorite for Sunday’s $1 million Haskell Invitational (G1) at Monmouth Park.

Paynter drew post position No. 3. Beaten narrowly by Union Rags in the Belmont Stakes (G1) last time out, Paynter will be ridden by Rafael Bejarano. He is trained by Bob Baffert for Zayat Stables. Baffert has won the Haskell five times.

Dullahan, third in the Kentucky Derby (G1), will break from post position No. 2 and is the co-second choice at odds of 3-1 along with Wood Memorial (G1) winner Gemologist. The latter will break from post position No. 4. Nonios drew the rail. He has been tabbed at 7-2. Handsome Mike, post position No. 5 at 15-1 and Stealcase, 8-1 from post position No. 6, round out the Haskell field.
