Piloted by Rose Napravnik, the son of Pulpit led from start to finish in the 1 1/16-mile fixture, crossing the wire 3 3/4lengt hs clear of runner-up Micromanage. Power Broker covered the distance in 1:41 2/5.

“I didn’t have any instructions, but I figured we would be close,” Napravnik told NYRA Press. “There was actually a nice pace up front. I breezed him a couple of days ago and I knew he was coming into the race on his game. He was running very comfortably the whole way.”

Owned by Gary and Mary West, Power Broker is trained by Bob Baffert.
